12 long years ago, in 2005, this forum rose from the then-booming VU Games Crash Bandicoot Forum as an asset of Crash Mania.
As time went along, Crash Mania, and its forum, became the go-to destination for Crash Bandicoot news and discussion, leaving the official forums
in the dust. As Crash's popularity wavered, so too did Crash Mania Forum. It separated from Crash Mania proper in the late 2000s, taking on a new
administration under its previous moderation team. Over time, the team shrunk to only the original moderator as the key admin. In 2016, the forum
received a short burst of energy after a remodeling, renaming, and Crash's hugely successful resurrection. However, it became quickly apparent that
this revival of the forum was not to last, and online discussion has migrated more towards group chats and Reddit-style boards, and as such,
it is with a heavy heart I make the decision to close down Crash Bandicoot Forum for good.
